On November 29, 2017 in the city of Dobrich a press conference was held for the beginning of the project “Joint services and initiatives for sustainable employment and labor mobility in the cross-border area of Dobrich district and Constanta county", acronym “LAB mobile”, implemented by Non-profit Organization “European Institute for cultural tourism EUREKA” (Lead Partner), in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry – Dobrich, ”Ovidius” University of Constanta and the “Institute for the Promotion of Tourism and Applied Economy” Association, Constanta.
The event was attended by journalist from 5 regional media, experts from the Regional labor office, labor mediators, training institutions, business representatives, NPO from the field of HR, public authority representatives. The Vice Mayor of Dobrich Municipality D-r Baeva was present and expressed hеr empathy for the project's objectives and expected results. The event was opened by the manager of EICT “EUREKA”, Mr. Krasen Rusev. The project manager - Bozhanka Dobreva presented the project with its main goals, activities and benefits for the local community. The event was attended by representatives of the three partners – Mr. German Germanov from CCI-Dobrich, Mrs. Cristina Duhnea from ”Ovidius” University of Constanta and Mrs. Daniela Bobe from the “Institute for the Promotion of Tourism and Applied Economy” Association, Constanta.
The project aims to stimulate the labor market in the target cross-border region, creating long-term conditions for labor mobility, employment and entrepreneurship through innovative and sustainable cross-border initiatives.
It includes activities, such as:
- Studying the state of the labor market and elaborating a roadmap for sustainable employment and labor mobility in the cross-border region of Dobrich-Constanta;
- Creating an innovative e-learning platform;
- Creating a Lifelong Learning Center (LLL Center) in Constanta;
- Elaborating a self-study language system, video lessons and educational films - Romanian language for Bulgarians and Bulgarian language for Romanians, as well as conducting of 2 language courses;
- Elaborating 3 manuals for entrepreneurship in tourism and 3 educational films: for eco and rural tourism, for cultural tourism and for sports and adventure tourism, which will be publicly available on the e-learning platform. Conducting three joint trainings;
- Creating an online learning system and video tutorials for building key competencies;
- Conducting two labor exchanges and two workshops.
